Sadly the weather was not kind and it rained very hard all day. Dark skies don’t make for good aircraft photography, light is all important to get crisp shots. Of course the other issue is protecting the camera and keeping the lens clean. Pointing it at the sky with water aiming at it does not make this an easy task. However, it would be sad if we didn’t have a few images to record the day. We rigged up a bit of a dry area ~ well ish! We used a mixture of an umbrella, a ground blanket, some bungees and a bulldog clip…however, I shall leave the vision of that combination up to your imagination!
